We are very glad that you have moved into our neighborhood and hope you will feel right at home here. This cozy little corner of Far North Dallas is known for its convenient access to all parts of the Dallas area via major thoroughfares such as Central Expressway (US75), LBJ Expressway (US 635), President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT/190) and the North Dallas Tollway. Many families are attracted to our community because of the excellent RISD schools available to educate their children. As a neighborhood that was first developed in the early-to-mid 1970s, many residents enjoy the beauty that comes with mature trees and shade-dappled streets. And if you aren’t already a fitness buff, you just may become one by joining many of your neighbors from PEHA and surrounding communities on the Preston Ridge Trail, located directly to the east of us along Meandering Way.
While other nearby neighborhoods can offer many of these same advantages, what makes us truly unique and especially wonderful are the people who live here! There’s a special vibrancy that comes with the mix of long-time and new residents of all ages, people from all over the country and other parts of Dallas. We even have some residents from international locations who now call Prestonwood East home.
